What we collect
Information you give us when you register and work with us
When you sign up as a coach and use the portal, we collect and hold:
Account and profile details. Your name and email address (from the account you sign in with), your contact number, your SportSync ID if you have one, and the sports you coach.
Certificates. Copies of the coaching certificates you upload, such as NROC/NREP, First Aid, and MOE registration, along with their expiry dates. These are needed to confirm you're qualified for the jobs you take.
A profile photo. A photo of your face, used so venues and our operations team can identify the coach who's meant to be there.
Your work activity. The jobs and programmes you accept or drop, your check-ins at venues (including the time), and your pay for each job.
Performance records. Ratings given after jobs (by a project lead, a teammate, or our operations team), feedback we receive about sessions, any demerit records, and your level history as you progress from Trainee Coach upward.
How it's used
Only to run the coaching operation
We use this information to match you with jobs you're qualified for, confirm attendance, work out and track your pay, support your progression through coaching levels, and contact you about your registration, certificates, and jobs (including by WhatsApp and email).
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising. There are no ads in the portal.
Who can see it
Our operations team, and no more than needed
The Momentum Academy operations team can see your profile, certificates, work history, and performance records, since that's what running the operation requires. A project lead on a job you work sees enough to run that job and rate the team afterward. Other coaches don't have access to your profile, certificates, or records.
Clients and venues may know which coach is assigned to their programme, which is part of delivering the session itself.
Where it lives
Locked-down storage
Your information is stored on secure, established cloud services. Certificates and profile photos are kept in private storage that only you and our operations team can access, and every part of the system enforces access rules so people only see what their role allows.
Service providers that help us run the portal process data on our behalf only, never for their own purposes.
Your choices
You stay in control of your details
You can update your contact number, sports, certificates, and photo anytime from your Profile tab. If you'd like a copy of the information we hold about you, want something corrected, or want your account and data deleted, contact us and we'll sort it out.
We keep records only as long as we need them to run the coaching operation and meet our obligations. We take our responsibilities under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act seriously.
